Business administration is administration of a business. It includes all aspects of overseeing and supervising business operations, as well as related fields which include accounting, finance, project management and marketing. The BCA is a common degree for CS/IT students at Indian universities, and is an alternative to the engineering counterpart, the BE/B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering/IT, which requires 4 years of study. BBA helps you to decide on specialization in the business market. Where in BCA confines you to computer application studies.

Hi Rohit,
The placement scenario in Amity University is very good. Top IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini etc visit the campus for recruitment. If you work hard through out the course, then you will be placed easily.
Best of luck.

The least percentage should not be less than 70% and you should study maths and computer science as mandatory subjects in your 10+2, so you can meet the eligibility criteria for different universities. In addition, if you are from science and commerce stream then you can easily get admission into top colleges for BCA. If you want to learn programming languages, which you will be studying in your BCA course, then you can check out this App which is specially designed and developed for BCA students. It has programs and assignments of languages like C, C+ and Java with their outputs.

Hi,
You can opt for higher studies like MCA degree I.e. Master of Computer Application. Another good option is Masters Degree in Computer Management (MCM) or Masters Degree in Information Management (MIM). For students inclined more towards the managerial aspects of an organisation, MBA in Information Technology from a reputed B-Schooling India is a good option.
Thanks!

After pursuing MCA, you can either undertake NET examination and after qualifying that you can apply for a PhD in any university that you wish for. You can also pursue ME/M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering). Also, MS degree from abroad is also a good option to enhance your career.

For government jobs, start preparing for entrance exams. There are many SBI PO Civil services, RRB, RBI, SSC CGL etc. Fill entrance application forms and start giving exams. Different exams have different difficulty level and scope. Read about each and apply accordingly.
Or,
You also can do vendor certifications. If you are interested in Java, then give OCPJP exam. If you are interested in SQL then do Oracle SQL or Microsoft SQL certification. Likewise, if you are interested in hardware and networking then CCNA. And then do job in IT Sector.

The concepts of BCA are easier for students having done their 10+2 in Science subjects while for others, BBA is better. Both BBA and BCAare launch pads for graduate level degrees and open the doors for great careers in many industries.
