Yes, you can do BCA after 12th from Commerce even Arts students can also pursue BCA after 12th. It is a new age course and many students choose it for their career growth. If you are interested in computer Science & technical field, then BCA is the perfect course for you.

Someone who has studied BCA can join a software company or can also go for higher studies. In BCA, subjects which are included are almost similar to that of students pursuing B.Tech. India and other countries many MNCs are recruiting BCA graduates for their technical section.

If you are talking about CS in both then BCA is much better than engineering but apart from CS branch engineering is better than doing BCA.
