Graduation in any stream is the basic eligibility for MCA. The eligibility for qualifying marks in graduation differs from institute to institute. Yes! BCA is a technical degree course but it was not equivalent to B.Tech! This course was designed for those who does not want to do B.Tech or other streams students like Bio, commerce, arts students who want to make there career in IT industry, they enroll in this course!
BCA is a Bachelor degree in computer application, you will get a good job after this according to your skills but if u do MCA then it boosts your career to the next level!

Both course are good and both have their own need and importance. And it is totally depends on your interest. BCA is a purely application based programme, where you do programing designing of web, mobile applications and learn only computer related subjects. But different universities have different curriculum. Generally, the basic course curriculum of BCA focuses on database management systems, operating systems, software engineering, computer architecture, web technology and languages such as C, C+, HTML, Java,. No, Hansraj College does't offer BCA courses. Instead, it offers only B.Sc (H) computer Science.
