Both BCA-MCA and MBA are both good career options for girls. With BCA you can only get lower salary entry level jobs in IT industry. Therefore, I will recommend MCA over BCA for a meaningful IT career. Working conditions in IT industry are good but if you get 24x7 support role, then you may have to adjust to job requirements. You may seek admission in MCA if you are technically inclined. If you are not technically inclined then you may opt for MBA and become a generalist. Although specializations are good for girl, you may prefer HR, international business over other specializations.

There is no cadre of computer professionals as developers or testers in government. Government needs for computer software and hardware is filled by organisations such as NIC, NISG, CDAC, etc. However, you are eligible for all government jobs including civil services where minimum educational qualification criteria is a graduation degree.
