There are different ways of admission in MBA. Some institutes prefer CAT/XAT/ MAT scores only for admission to MBA course. And to appear for CAT/XAT/MAT etc  student needs to have 50% in graduation. But eligibility criteria varies for various Management Institutes or Universities, they can take different %age in graduation along with CAT/ MAT/ XAT scores. 
Another way of admission is internal tests or admission criteria of individual Management Institutes or Universities.

The number of available vacant seats for the MCA program will be limited in colleges. Due to this reason, the competition will be high at times. For different institutions, accordingly, the syllabus of the examination will be different, so you should keep in mind to not follow a similar pattern. You will need to expand your field of study, mainly in Mathematics and Statistics. You can attend coaching classes or study on your own. You can also get some guide books in order to improve your knowledge. You need to have a good practical knowledge in computer too.
