Most government and private colleges admit candidates for BCA solely on the basis of performance in the Class 12th examinations. For admission to BCA abroad, the SAT, ACT, and language competency exams IELTS and TOEFL are used. Additional requirements include a 10+2 degree with at least 50% of the required marks.

To get admission to a three-year BCA course at Seamedu, the minimum eligibility is to pass Class 12 in any discipline from a recognised board. The selection criteria for BCA at Seamedu include fulfilling the eligibility criteria in the first place and fill an online application form. CSJMU or Kanpur University has not specified the minimum percentage for BCA admission. However, candidates need to complete Class 12 or equivalent examination with minimum marks prescribed by the university and Mathematics subject to apply for CSJMU BCA programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. Besides, the admission to CSJM University BCA course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam or CUET-UG score.
