No, BCA is not equivalent to BTech in computer Science course offered at Brainware University. While, both courses focus on computer science, BTech in computer Science is more technical and focuses on the hardware and software aspects of computer science, while BCA focuses on computer applications and their practical use.

Brainware University offers merit scholarships to BCA students, on the basis of their last qualifying scores. Students who score between 90% and 94.99% are eligible for a 50% waiver on their tuition fees, while those scoring 95% or higher receive a full tuition fee waiver. Additionally, toppers from an institution with less than 90% will get additional INR 25,000 off over and above the Brainware Merit scholarship.
