Yes, the applicant must belong to Bihar state or Candidate's parents must be a permanent residence of Bihar state. Candidates belonging to the parents who are permanent registered refugee of Bihar state can also apply. If student's parents belong from different state, but they are government employee of Bihar state are also eligible to apply.

BCECE Nursing exam will be conducted tentatively in July 2024 as per the past trend. The exam schedule is yet to be announced. 

Candidate should have passed class 12 or equivalent from a government recognised from the state of Bihar and should have scored 45 per cent marks on aggregate in qualifying exam with subjects such as chemistry, physics, biology, English. Minimum age to appear for the exam is 17 years as on December 31, 2024.

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination  (BCECE) is conducted for the admission in Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical and Agriculture stream of Institutions recognised by Government of Bihar.

Three papers based on Physics, Chemistry, and, Biology subjects will be provided to test the aptitude of paramedical aspirants

BCECE 2024 paramedical exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based). Candidates will be provided an OMR sheet in which they will have to fill in the correct option among the choices provided. Answer once marked cannot be erased as it will be filled with the pen.

The exam duration of BCECE 2024 paramedical exam is 4.5 hours. There will be 1.5 hours (90 minutes) each to attempt three sections namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In this duration, candidate will have to solve 300 multiple-choice questions in offline mode.

The questions asked in the PCB section of BCECE 2024 will be of Class XII level. The exam is of medium difficulty level. Candidates have to solve 300 objective-type questions in 4.5 hours. The BCECE paramedical question paper will be provided in both Hindi and English language. An OMR sheet will be provided at the test centre. The mode of answering will be pen and paper based. Once an answer is marked, it cannot be deleted.

General category candidates will have to pay INR 1000/- as application fee for BCECE 2024 paramedical application form. Those belonging to SC/ST category would be required to pay INR 500/- as an application fee.
