The marks required for Bachelor of Dental Science are dependent on the cutoff for the same during that particular academic year. It is also dependent on the fact, that, are you willing to take management quota seat as well.The candidate should have qualified in 12th Examinations from recognized university/institution with minimum 50 percent marks for general category and 40 percent marks for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes and 45 percent marks for Physically Handicapped candidates.

The admission to BDS seats in Punjab is granted based on the NEET 2023 score and the Punjab NEET merit list. The merit list mentions the name and category of the candidate, registration number, NEET 2023 marks, rank, and roll number. As per the BDS cutoff for NEET 2023, an unreserved category candidate must score at least 50 percentile. The cutoff percentile for general category aspirants is 50th.
