There are a number of employment options available to BDS degree holders beyond earning an MS. To enter the field of healthcare management, graduates can choose to pursue an MBA in Hospital Management or Health Administration. Other well-known professions include clinical research and public health, both of which offer MPH (Master of Public Health) programmes for further study. Graduates in dentistry may also choose to focus in forensic odontology or cosmetic dentistry. Academic and teaching positions are offered through postsecondary education programmes like MDS. Other feasible business options include starting a private practice or selling and marketing dental products.
