The cutoff was released for multiple specialisations among which, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) became the most competitive specialisation. During the Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal, Manipal Academy of Higher Education cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank stood at 488048 for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), while in 2022, the last round closing rank was 424583. In 2021, it was 619839 for the General All India category students. Analysing the Round 6 closing rank for the last three years, Manipal College of Dental Sciences witnessed a fluctuating trend for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). 

No the student and or Candidate cannot join Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences for BDS without taking NEET which is known as the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. Indian Dental Council which controls the admission to all the BDS colleges in India also require the students to have passed NEET. NEET is the undergraduate common entrance examination conducted for the medical and dental courses across the country. So, one must appear for NEET to be considered for BDS admission at Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences or for any other BDS college in India across the country and clear the NEET score as per the DCI standards and college norms.
