Hi Amit,
Let me tell you one thing. It is a good decision because BIBS is doing great for all these years and that you can learn from their placement record. You don't need to worry about placements in this college. That's the biggest thing that every MBA student look for. You just have to give your best to get the best out of this MBA course in BIBS.
All the best.

Hi Amit,
MBA is a big decision that you are taking and it is difficult if you think it's difficult. You will enjoy your 2 years in BIBS so much that semesters will be just a part of MBA. You can study and pass if you were present in the classroom. That's how they teach you in the class so that you can learn it in practical life. Exams don't seem tough after that. Moreover, it will be a fun learning experience for you.

Hi Sourav,
Let me be honest with you. If you are planning to do your MBA in Kolkata, the best school which I would recommend you is BIBS because it's a big investment that you are going to make and hence you should spend some time on doing research about the 3 schools. Still, one piece of advice, BIBS has been doing phenomenally well for all these years and that you can learn if you go through their placement record. They have a very strong faculty members and, moreover, they have too many large organisations in their kitty. Hi Nilanjan,
Let me tell you the difference between PGPBM and PGPIBM. PGPBM is a full-time course and PGPIBM is a course where you will attend college for a few months and then do your apprenticeship. Talking about the subjects, you have the M.Sc background so better if you take up marketing because finance and HR will be totally different from your Bachelor's degree. Marketing will be good because you will learn a different subject that will not make it difficult for you to understand.
That's my opinion. All the best.

Hi Shakib,
Let me clear your doubt. BIBS is good for placements. If you compare it with any institute in Kolkata, you will see the difference. The marketing department is indeed very strong here because of the faculty and the companies who we have in our placement list. So, definitely, it's a good option to study marketing here. Rest is your hard work that will fetch you a good job.

Hi Rony,
2017 placements will start from this October. So, you have to wait till then, but if you want you can check out previous years placement records (2017). It will give you a fair idea about the companies and the fee structure differs every year, though, you can expect it to be between 4.5 to 5 LPA.

BIBS is well known for the placement package their average package is said to be of Rs. 4.5lacs.
And with that being the average package, it can be said that the college placement committee is doing really well, if compared with other competitors.
