BFA course at Govt College of Arts, Chandigarh is of 4 years duration. The eligibility criteria is as under.
Eligibility : Minimum qualification for admission to all the BFA courses is 1o+2(12rh pass) Examination with a minimum of 40% marks (35% in case of SC/ST candidates) or any other equivalent examination.
Selection procedure : Candidates fulfilling the prescribed qualifications will have to appear for a common Aptitude test for admission to BFA courses as prescribed by the college. The Aptitude test will consist of the followings :
Object Drawing, Composition & General Knowledge about Art (written paper). 60 % weightage will be given

Generally, for this course, we need 12th or intermediate certificate. But you are having Diploma certificate. Based on the institutions it differs. If you are willing to join in private institutions, you can have chance to do it.

You can pursue Diploma or degree course, after completing higher secondary education (class 12th) examination from any recognized board. You can get admission in the Bachelor course after qualifying the aptitude test that is conducted by few BFA Institutes.
