Yes, you can get admission in BFA, but you need to justify the gap at the time of interview.

For BFA, you have to practice still life in pencil. Just pick any random objects of different materials, place them and start making them on paper. Make sure you shade background and foreground as well. The second question will be based on your specialisation, for eg: applied art candidates will be expected to make a composition on given topics in mediums such as watercolour, poster, pencil colour, oil pastels, etc.

As of now, college has not published any syllabus for its CSJM University Entrance Test. You can refer some good entrance exam book or you can also go through the prospectus of the course to get more detailed information on the same.

You need to have passed 10+2 from a recognised institute. Admission forms for the BFA course are generally available along with other undergraduate courses application forms in the month of May. Mostly, the admission is merit-based and universities declare a common cut-off list for admission to the programme.

In BFA, the first and second semester all the subjects (Painting, Sculpture and Graphics) are to be studied compulsorily. In the third semester, only one of these subjects will be opted. In the first and second semester one of the following Languages - Hindi / English / Sanskrit must be opted for study.
Environmental study is compulsory subject in first and second semester of all undergraduate programmes.
