The entry requirement for BFA is that you secure a minimum of 50% or above in Class 12. However, students need to appear in entrance tests before getting admission to BFA courses.A lot of schools and institutions that offer BFA programmes do not technically require their students to have studied the arts in the past. Admission in Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Applied Arts and Crafts Akurdi for BFA is not so much difficult if you have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) and English as a passing subject and having good marks in a  MAH AAC CET (Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test) or any other equivalent competitive examination.
