For admission to the B.Tech programme at BFIT Dehradun candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology conducted by a recognised University /Board. Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination securing a minimum of 50%marks for general category candidates and 45% for SC/ ST/OC/ PH category candidates. The major criterion for admission is through JEE Main, or directly through merit, according to the students' choice. At BFIT Group of Institutions, Dehradun, aspirants must have passed their 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as required subjects in order to be considered for the B.Tech degree program. They needed to have received at least 50% of the possible points in the qualifying exam. Candidates also need to have passed any state-level engineering entrance test, such as JEE Main, with a valid result. Admissions are made on the basis of available seats and merit.
