Yes, aspirants who have completed Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for the BTech course. Candidates must pass Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in PCM/ Biology for Bioengineering department. The total fee of BTech ranges between INR 6 Lacs and INR 10 Lacs as per an unofficial source. Candidates who have applied for BTech (lateral entry) need to pay a total fee ranging between INR 2.40 Lacs and INR 5.40 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee might includes components other than the tuition fee. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. Yes, Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research provides lateral entry to the BTech course. Through lateral entry, candidates get direct admission in the second-year of the course. BTech (LE) is offered for a duration of three-years to aspirants who have completed Diploma recognised by central or state government with at least 50% aggregate or BSc Mathematics or its equivalent. BIHER offers BTech course in 16 specialisations, namely Aeronautical, Aerospace, Automobile, Civil, Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial Biotechnology, Mechatronics Engineering, etc. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for the BTech course. MBA is one of the top courses of the university. Bharath University is ranked at 5 under the best B School in the Regional Ranking by Business Today in 2020 and 2021. The university is ranked at the 12 in IIRF 2021 in the Best B School Ranking in the National Cluster. BIHER was also ranked at the 6 in ROI by Business Today in 2021. During Bharath University placement 2022, the university recorded a placement of 93% in general. The highest salary went up to INR 27 Lacs and average was INR 5 lakh. Further,  207 recruiters participated in the placement process 2022 and placed 1,616 students in new-age job roles.

No, the university considers the merit of the candidates in graduation for providing admission. Aspirants do not have to appear for any of the entrance exam. Candidates of qualifying examination can also apply on provisional basis but at the time of admission such a candidates shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed/ marksheet from the respective examination provided that he /she fulfills the eligibility criteria. Failing to do so, the admission shall stand cancelled.
