Bharath University allows direct admission to its open distance learning courses offered by BIHER online. Interested candidates are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria of their desired course and then apply to the programme through online or offline modes.However, admission to BIHER regular courses is either merit-based or entrance-based. Aspirants have to appear for the predetermined BIHER admission process to secure a seat in their desired course.

For B.Sc, Hindustan College of Arts and Science is better than Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research. For some programmes, the Hindustan College has a strong placement history with reputable businesses. In general, HICAS tuition is a little bit more than BIHER tuition. Greater class sizes in some HICAS programmes may have an effect on the amount of one-on-one time spent with students.Depending on your unique interests, BIHER may offer a narrower number of BSc programmes than HICAS. No, the university does not accept GATE or any other entrance exam score. Admission to M.Tech course is purely based on merit. Bharath University shortlists candidates for M.Tech based on their score in the last qualifying exam. BIHER releases a merit list announcing the names of selected aspirants. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification round. Aspirants need to bring the documents proving their eligibility for verification.
