The process for admission to all the courses at the PG level is either merit list-based or entrance test based. The admission to the MSc course is made after the scores of applicants in the GAT-B exam. Bharathiar University Admission 2023 also offers many PG courses such as MA, MSC, MBA, and PG diploma courses.

In BCom or BCom Hons or equivalent exams from a recognised university, students must have a minimum 50% score.
Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics, BFIA, BBS, or BBE from a recognised university with a minimum score of 60% or similar are also considered by some colleges.
Reserved category students are eligible for up to a 5% mark relaxation at government universities.
For entrance to the MCom programme, there is no maximum age limit.

A pass in UG degree with 60% marks in life Science. For admission you must have to give GAT-B (Graduate Aptitude Test for Biotechnology). Students should apply to Bharathiar University through GAT-B exam score and availed reservation.

75 percent attendance is usually compulsory to write the end-semester exam. However, if your attendance is between the 75 percent and 50 percent range have a talk with the teacher and they'll probably give you an extra assignment to do instead in exchange for writing the exam otherwise attach a medical Certificate as that's the only way you'll be allowed to take the final exam hence you can write the exam without attending regular classes.
