You require 85-90 Percentile to get a call from BIM. But there are many other factors which give you a weightage along with your CAT overall score like your academic records, work experience, your extra curricular activities & your overall profile.

As far as I know, the cutoff for BIM Trichy is above 85 percentile in CAT. But, I would still like you to contact the college once and enquire about the cutoff they are looking for this academic year. Sometimes it does happen that college change the cutoff's they usually take. So, take a chance by applying for the college online through the official website or you always have the option of visiting the college directly. All the best.

The new waiting list has been released post 2nd April. If you have paid the fee to be included in the waiting list, you might have got the latest number. I suggest you follow the trend this year, however, chances of conversion are low.

It depends under which category you have applied if its open category there is a chance as per last year trend, still, percentage wise it is pretty low. You might have to wait for the 4 - 5 list. I suggest you keep an eye on this year trend. All the best.

2. For OBC/PWD/DA categories 70 and above
3. For SC/ST categories 50 and above
