Yes its really good to enrolled in LPU. LPU has best rankings such it is awarded as 74th best university in the world. It is the largest university and cover 600 acres. Almost 30,000+ students studying here. FACULTY: Faculty of LPU is really co-operative. They will help students and encourages them to achieve their goals in life
PLACEMENTS: Various companies come and offer prestigious salaries to students that will benefits the students. Maximum package of LPU is get by CSE students. Every year many companies visit to recruit students such as, DELL, MICROSOFT, GOOGLE, INTEL, AMAZON, FLIP KART etc. Recently, student get placement of 64 LPA salary package in LPU from B.Tech CSE. INFRASTRUCTURE: In LPU, B.Tech CSE departments are really well furnished, high quality lifts, labs with best technology, Air-condtioner rooms, a huge library that is called central library in that every type of books you will find.

It is quite a subjective question and my opinion will not matter if it does not match with your interest. CSE and ME are entirely different with CSE comprising scientific and engineering aspects of computing and designing automated machine systems and intelligent bots. Vellore Institute of Technology has a higher ranking, better faculty members and a reputation in the educational world. In VIT whatever the campus, the only branch that's good for placements is CSE. If you take core branches even in Vellore then also it's very difficult to get into core companies because there are very less core companies visiting for placements and its a high probability that you will be placed in mass. So CSE in VIT Andhra Pradesh is a good option as compared to the core branch in Vellore (in terms of placement).
