The job will be according to what specializations you have choose in your final semester.
1) Management Trainee (The interview is difficult to crack but if you crack this, your life is made. You will be selected as management trainee. You will have to work in all department and choose which department you want to go as an Assistant Manager after 2 years of training)
2) Front Office executive
3) Housekeeping executive
4) Food and beverage executive
5) Entry level chef
are the various jobs you will get after you completion of your course.

It doesn't make much of a difference between the two. To be an executive chef, you need to have the skill, talent and also experience. Whichever you finish, you have to get into a management training programme.

Yes, you can do MBA in marketing. Comparing both HR and Marketing is a difficult task, as both are employment generators. But, on the personal side I feel HR is better in the long run.

Hi,
Nothing goes for a waste, the more you learn the easy you grow. For promotions always qualification and experience are taken together to promote. MHM would be suggested also try for MBA in hospitality management. If your specific about any particular department out of 4 core or finance, marketing, HR or anything else. I suggest you to specialise only in that so you will have a clear insight about what you want to do. I am passionate about HR and I am doing my BHM now and I will probably choose MBA in HR to upgrade my knowledge about HR and get a better posting rather studying all the 4 core departments again. Yes, you can join the course in this college now also. All the best. You may be required to produce a gap year certificate from the concerned board you got migration certificate from the board.

You can't be an executive chef with a PG certificate. I would suggest you to get into any Kitchen management trainee post with any prominent hotel group after your BHM. And after that plan your PG.
