There is no comparison between both the courses, as one will get a Science degree and the other one will get you a hotel management degree. You need to think of what interests you the most. And accordingly, take admission for the same.

If you're interested in BHM after 12th, you can directly approach the college for seats and write the entrance exam. Few colleges have entrance exams and few don't have any such entrance exam. You can directly apply in that case. If you're looking for a reputed institution and a good life in the hotel industry and a better experience, I would suggest you to take up NCHMCT-JEE, it will help you get through all the hurdles easily.
But you need to be prepared in advance for the entrance exam and apply for it before date.
