Hotel Management is a professional course, it does not demand any specific age limit like many other courses. The minimum eligibility criteria to purse any of the HM courses is to complete 12th or equivalent examination from a recognised board in any stream with 50% of aggregate marks. Best colleges for BHMCT are GNIHM Kolkata and IHM Mumbai.

Yes, you can get placement from mm university or you can go walking to any hotel in India or in any other country. For placement you can contact the H. R. department of the company or hotel and send your C. V. according to which they conduct your interview.

In BHMC course, the focus is on all 4 core departments of Hotel (Kitchen, F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping) and in HM, the focus is solely on a particular department.

Hi,
No, you cannot get admission without counseling in any government college. You need to fill up the counseling form for admission. If you are taking admitted in private colleges then there is no requirement of counseling. You can get fees consecration with your marks in the Exam only in a private college and if it's help like it.

BHMCT short for Bachelor in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, covers a wider field of study as compared to BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management). So, if you are looking to become a hospitality professional, I would recommend that you go for a BHMCT programme since that will give you a more comprehensive outlook of the hotel and catering industry. Also, go through all the programme details thoroughly so that you can make an informed decision about what is right for you and your career.
