Hi Nyage,
BAMS, of-course has the greater potential than BHMS. Ayurveda is getting an edge over allopathy etc.
When it comes to graduation in Ayurvedic medical Science, the students will be taught entire subjects that involve knowledge of this field, inclusive of modern Science. In this course, the study load for students will be more as compared to MBBS and BHMS.
In BHMS, students will learn only some areas of modern Science, while the other subjects will be mainly focusing on homeopathic medicines. When it comes to study load, it will be equal to MBBS or even slightly more as well. Here, it will be difficult for students to remember dif

It's good to do BHMS. In India, there is acute shortage of doctors. If you develop skills of diagnosis & corrective medicines your practice will flourish in no time.

Yes, it seems to be quite possible as there are total 26 medical colleges for MBBS considering 250 of them have average seats then there is still BHMS, BAMS, etc. last year cut off of BHMS was approx. 13500 so you are eligible

Homeopathy is a great treatment method and is the 2nd most used treatment method. It has great scope in future. To begin with, you need to work on the entrance exam, NEET. Then opt BHMS degree from a reputed medical college. Then after degree, you need to pursue MD.

No, you can't get lateral entry admission to MBBS after completing BHMS courses. Both the courses are different from each other though they belongs to same category.
Also note that there is no lateral entry in MBBS.
