The term "homoeopathic vaccine" is a misnomer. Immunisation is a phrase used in medicine to describe the process of encouraging the body to build up resistance to certain pathogens. In order to develop immunity, vaccines stimulate the body to produce antibodies, which are specialised cells that fight pathogens.Homoeopathic medications are not a viable substitute for traditional vaccines since they do not rely on the production of specific antibodies or germ-fighting cells. The Australian Government's recommendations for the immunisation of children are still being conveyed to parents by the Victorian Department of Health.

Yes, BHMS degree holders in India are entitled to use the title "Dr." just like other medical professionals such as MBBS doctors. This is because they are trained and qualified to practice homeopathic medicine and surgery. However, they need to use the title responsibly and ethically, adhering to the guidelines and regulations set by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the respective state medical councils.

The method of treatment is one of the most significant differences between homoeopathy and allopathy. Homoeopathy focuses on enhancing the body's response to the condition while allopathy treats illnesses with medications and occasionally surgery. Homoeopathy is considered the antithesis of allopathy since, unlike allopathy, it uses little amounts of diluted chemicals and operates on the idea that "what caused the problem in the first place is also the solution for treatment."

No, BHMS doctors are only trained in homeopathic medicine. BHMS doctors are not trained or licensed to perform major surgical procedures like those performed by allopathic surgeons or MBBS doctors. They work within the framework of homeopathic principles and may employ homeopathic remedies alongside minor surgical interventions, if necessary.

Candidates with a Class 12 Diploma may take a clearance exam for entry-level positions, such as the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET). To be accepted into a homoeopathy college for a graduate degree like the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS), you must ace this exam, which is quite tough. Candidates may also select postgraduate homoeopathic courses if they so wish.

No, a homeopathy course is not equal to an MBBS degree. MBBS is a traditional medical degree focused on allopathic medicine, which involves the use of conventional treatments, surgeries, and pharmaceuticals. On the other hand, a Homeopathy course focuses on homeopathic medicine, which is based on using highly diluted substances to stimulate the body's natural healing processes.Candidates can check the table below to see the comparison between the two courses.ParticularsHomeopathicMBBS Course DetailsMBBS Course LevelUG, PG and DiplomaeUndergraduateMBBS Course Duration 2-3 years5 years + 6 months internshipMBBS Course Admission Proc
