BHMS course doctors are not trained or licensed to perform deliveries (childbirth) as their education and practice focus on homeopathy, not obstetrics or surgery. Delivering babies typically requires specialised training in obstetrics, which is a part of allopathic medicine (MBBS) and involves a separate qualification like MD or MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology. While BHMS practitioners can support women during pregnancy by addressing certain health concerns and using homeopathic remedies, they are not authorized to manage labor or conduct deliveries.

BHMS course can be a good choice for the future, particularly for those interested in pursuing a career in alternative medicine and holistic healthcare. As homeopathy is gaining popularity for its non-invasive, personalized treatment approach, there is a growing demand for qualified homeopathic doctors. BHMS course graduates have opportunities to open their practice, work in hospitals, or contribute to research in the field of homeopathy. Additionally, homeopathy is increasingly being integrated into integrated healthcare systems, leading to expanding career options in both private and public sectors.

After completing BHMS course, pursuing a specialisation in Gynecology directly is not possible, as Gynecology is a branch of allopathic medicine. If you are interested in allopathic gynaecology, you would need to pursue an MBBS degree followed by a specialisation (MD) in Gynaecology.

No, the BHMS course is not equal to MBBS. While both are undergraduate medical degrees, they differ significantly in terms of curriculum, treatment methods, and practice areas. MBBS is the standard qualification for practicing conventional (allopathic) medicine. On the other hand, BHMS course is a degree focused on homeopathic medicine, which follows a holistic approach to treatment using homeopathic remedies and individualized care.

Yes, in most cases, BHMS admissions in India require candidates to appear for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam. NEET is a mandatory entrance exam for admission to various medical courses, including BHMS, in both government and private institutions. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and evaluates candidates in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Yes, BHMS course graduates are legally entitled to be called "Doctors" in India. After completing the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) course, they are recognised as homeopathic doctors. The title of "Doctor" is granted as they are qualified to practice homeopathy, diagnose medical conditions, and prescribe homeopathic medicines. However, it is important to note that while they can be called "Doctor," their practice is limited to homoeopathic medicine and does not include the prescription of allopathic treatments unless they pursue further qualifications.

An MBA in Hospital Management focuses more on the business aspects of managing healthcare organizations, such as finance, human resources, and operations. On the other hand, an MBA in Hospital Administration often delves deeper into the specific challenges of running hospitals, including patient care, healthcare policies, and hospital operations. The best option depends on your career goals: if you are more inclined toward the operational side of healthcare institutions, an MBA in Hospital Administration might be ideal. If you prefer a broader approach to management with a focus on the business side of the healthcare industry

The primary difference between MBBS and alternative medical courses like BAMS or BHMS lies in the medical practices and treatment methods they focus on. MBBS is a conventional medical course that trains students in allopathic medicine, emphasizing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases through surgery, medication, and other modern medical techniques. In contrast, BAMS and BHMS focus on alternative medicine; BAMS is centred on Ayurvedic medicine, which uses natural remedies and holistic approaches, while BHMS is based on Homeopathy, using diluted natural substances to stimulate the body's healing processes.
