With a score of 249 marks in NEET, it may be challenging to secure admission to a BHMS course in a private college in Gujarat, particularly for the general category. To get a clearer picture, I recommend researching the previous year's cutoff marks for BHMS admissions in Gujarat. You can also visit the official websites of various private colleges offering BHMS courses in Gujarat to check their eligibility criteria and previous year's cutoffs.

To be eligible for NEET 2021, you need at least 40% marks in aggregate of PCB if you are from SC category. Upon tallying the last year’s NEET cut off, it can be assumed that a score in the range of 436 to 550 is a safe score in NEET 2021 for SC category candidates to get admission to a Government medical college.I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Each college or university may have different cutoff scores depending on factors such as the number of available seats, the overall applicant pool, and the difficulty level of the NEET exam in that particular year. It's also worth noting that admission criteria can vary from year to year.  If you belong from SC, ST or OBC then you may get a seat for sure. If you are from General Category then thingsm might get little difficult for you.

It is difficult to get admission into BHMS without NEET as mostly all the good colleges and universities consider NEET score only. However, there are a few colleges that conduct their entrance keeping NEET aside. You can check the list of BHMS colleges accepting NEET score here. I hope this helps!
