It is a growing career and has the support of the Indian government. There are students who take a drop for MBBS but end up doing BDS or another course, as they didn't get MBBS next year either. Also, if you are going to a government or top homoeopathic college, taking BHM from government colleges is preferable to taking drop.

In the government sector, the salary of a homeopathic doctor is Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month. In the private sector, the salary of a homeopathic doctor is Rs. 20,000 per month.
