There are less chances for you to get placed abroad via campus placements. But you can apply for abroad independently after you finish your course.

Hi Sumana,
Both the colleges are equally good. But IHM-Kolkata is better than IHM-Bhubaneswar in terms of placement. For updated information on the placement get in touch with the current students or alumni of the college.

Hello,
All the IHMs are good for making a career in the field of hospitality and tourism they offer a good placement as well as a good course with no doubt they are the best colleges for hospitality and tourism that's why that's a National level competitive exam to make a career in hospitality sector and if you are not satisfied with the IHM courses then you can do MBA in the same field and get higher wages for any company you work.

The chances are high if you belong to Odisha state. If you are from All India, then from this year, it is tougher. It's hard to predict because the institute is added to JoSAA for the first time this year, which means there are high chances of high cutoff in All India quota. But the process is same for Odisha domiciled category. So it depends on the quota.
Hope for the best and apply for it.
Thank you
Hope this helps.
Feel free to connect.
Cheers
