For BA course admission, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. Aspiarnts should pass Class 12 from any recognised state/national board with minimum 50% aggregate. The admission criteria for the course is based on Patna University Common Entrance Test.  The entrance exam is conducted in offline mode i.e. pen and paper test. The state-level entrance exam duration of PUCET 2020 is for two hours. There are 30 departments in the university and has 10 colleges affiliated to the university.
