Hi,
Bihar is IAS Hub and there are so many coaching institutes in Patna. As much as I know, out of some famous coaching institutes like Vision IAS Vajiram & Ravi, Chanakya IAS Academy, Raus IAS Drishti IAS only Chanakya Academy is there in Patna and provide BPSC batches. They have a good reputation amongst students aspiring for Civil services. I have heard a lot about them so able to suggest. They are now going to launch a fresh batch for BPSC preparation. Well, I do not have much idea about coaching institutes, but still I would try to answer as per my discern n experience. I think coaching classes should be avoided. Primary reason is, the time you will invest in a coaching will not pay off much, as preliminary exam is near. A better alternative is to set a Target According to your current stage of preparation and requirement of exam. Refer to worthy resources, do not read everything. Join MOCKS. This is must! Appear for mocks, effectively analyse and improve. Again I would say, read only what is necessary. Do not read everything under the sun.

For a home state student, CSE closing rank - around 12k
ECE closing rank - around 21k
MECH closing rank - around 29k
Production closing rank - around 41k
Biotech closing rank - around 50k
There are more branches like IT, EEE, civil, chemical and polymer. It depends on what your rank is, you can get admission in an engineering branch if your rank is anywhere within 5055k. You can choose your branch according to your rank and field of interest.
