D.Y. Patil University and Amity University Mumbai for a B.Tech in Biotechnology can be a close call. Both universities have their own positive and negatives. Amity University have been given a rating of 4.2 whereas DY Patil have been given a rating of 4. Amity also provides a wide range of courses which is 6 whereas DY Patil offers 2 courses. Total fee is also high in Amity which goes upto 7.20 Lakh and in School od Biotechnology its only 2.81 Lakh.

The best course offered at the School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics is MBA. There are other courses too but as per my opinion its MBA/PGDM. The basic Eligibility for MBA: Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%Selection criteria : MAT,CAT,XAT,GMAT etc

While the official website of D.Y. Patil University's School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics states that there are Merit-based Scholarships.The university website mentions a Dr. P. D. Patil Merit Scholarship for the B.Tech. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science undergraduate degree programme offered by the Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute (DYPBBI).

B.E Bioinformatics Engineering degree from Saveetha School of Engineering is a four year program. For each academic year, this programme has sixty slots to accomodate students . The entire tuition fees for the four years amount to six Lacs rupees. Apart from the school fees, there is a one-time admission cost of fifteen thousand rupees which must be paid by all students interested in taking up the course which makes the total fee of INR 6,15,000 .If you want to apply for B.E. The B.Tech Bioinformatics of Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research has an intake capacity of 60 students per year. This means that only 60 students can enroll in this course every year, based on their performance in entrance exams like V-SAT, EAMCET and JEE.
