Yes, biology students can also pursue BCA course. Majority of the universities are willing to provide admission to non-mathematics/non-computer Science students. BCA its all about computers, programming and basic mathematics but you don't have to be a computer geek to start as a BCA student. In BCA you'll have to study a lot of programming languages. Eligibility for BCA in most of the top universities is pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2. (It may vary with the university you choose).

Hi, Congratulation on clearing the exam!
For the IIT JAM bilogical science stream, the competion is hard for getting admission in top IITs, cutoff varies every year for every subject. This year, cutoff for bilogical science is 21.48, 19.33, 10.74 for GEN, OBC (NCL), SC/ST/PwD respectively. Yes, B.Sc (Home Science) comes under Science Stream. For the admission to the said course, eligibility criterion for pursuing a B.Sc (Home Science) degree is qualifying 10+2. Some reputed colleges & institutes demand Physics, Chemistry & Biology as subjects studied at 10+2 level.

Hi Vidhya, 60% is not enough to get admission because a cut-off is released after it. So, try to get above 60 like in category of 70 to 75%.
