Yes, you are eligible for master course in botany. Like M.Sc. In botany eligibility is Bachelors Degree in Sciences with subjects Botany, Zoology and Chemistry or other subjects in the faculty of Life Sciences/Biological sciences with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST students).

Hello,
As per the latest notification released by IIT Kanpur for IIT JAM 2020, the IIT JAM Biological Science has been removed this year. No one can say that it will be conducted next year or not so candidates who were thinking to appear in the biological Science then they must prepare for IIT JAM Biotechnology as because, both the subjects have most of the similarities in terms of syllabus and career scope. Even aspirants have benefits if they choose the biotechnology because there are more seats available for this course in IITs as compared to Biological Science. Biotechnology has better scope today and will also have tomorrow. Specifically genetic engineering in biotechnology has the hugest potential. So, you should go with biotechnology.
