Don't just opt for PCM as you think it is a shortcut to earn money, nothing today gives any guarantee and certainty. But, if you have interest in something, money will come automatically without even bothering about it. Doctors are most needed in India (it is what I feel), we are developing, but still people (mostly children) are dying from illness, epidemics, malnutrition, and most of the doctors go abroad rather than helping here. If you are good in PCB then go for NEET (MBBS). Otherwise, there are a lot of courses for a biology student.
You can do BDS, BDMS or B.Sc.
If you want to become an MR or get a licence for a medical store then go for B.Pharm.

Hi Rushikesh, For life Science students, most of the opportunities are found in universities and research institutions. There are a large number of research institutions under the Council of scientific and industrial research.
You can opt the option of CSIR NET exam, it will give you a great career scope in research. If you are a Science student and willing to pursue your career further as a junior research fellow or an assistant professor, only then you should aim for CSIR - NET exam, later you can become a scientist.
