Marine biologists have scope to work as a scientist in Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute & Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture in its various research centers along the coast of India.
There are academic institutions which teach the subject as well as carry out research in this vast field.

Bsc. is a very good option if you don't want to go for medical. You can also pursue biotechnology, bioinformatics and genetic engineering courses. B pharm is also a good option.

If you are interested in MBBS and BDS, than you should prepare for medical competitive exams.
