Everyone say that NCERT is not enough. But it is enough, the thing we take here into consideration is that we don't go through every line in NCERT, each line in it is important and can be useful. Other books are just in detail explanation in detail about the concepts. It's upon your interest how you want to study and cover the syllabus for NEET exam.

It doesn't matter from which stream you are for doing law you simply have passed class 12th with minimum 50%. Although, an entry point to the most coveted National Law Universities that offer five years of integrated law programmes, is CommonLawAdmissionTest or CLAT/SET/ISAT. Science students are considered high on aptitude and hence are as strong contenders as any other stream to prepare for CLAT /SET/ISAT. All the best.
