No, it is not a compulsory section, but It is preferred if you attempt that section as well. As it will add to your scores. As most of the questions in aptitude exam are basic ones 10+1 and 10+2 biology NCERT books are more than enough. Thanks.

Hello,Delhi University does not give B.Sc in Biology. It only gives B.Sc in Botany or Zoology. These two are the two branches of Biology.

The minimum educational requirement to become an Astrobiologist is a Bachelor's degree in any of the science subjects like space science, astronomy, chemistry, biology or other appropriate science subject from a recognised university.
