Yes, you can sit for KVPY-SX. KVPY has two sections, each section has 4 parts or subjects, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You can attempt any three subjects in the first section and any two subjects in the second section. If you are studying both, biology and mathematics, you can attempt all the four subjects and the best of three will be selected. This is applicable only for students currently studying in class 12th, ie, KVPY- SX.

You can apply to IISc, if you are appearing in NEET 2018 and securing a minimum of 60% marks (GN), 54% marks (OBC-NCL), 30% marks (SC/ST/PWD). Admission will be based on your rank.
