IISER conducts its own aptitude oriented test. There will be questions from Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology. It is a must to attempt questions from all these areas. All questions will be objective in nature. There will be 15 questions in each of these sections. So it is necessary to study biology. You can really do good in PCM Questions + Study NCERT Level Biology.

You can apply for the Bachelor's degree programme (BDP) at IGNOU which includes B.Sc programme. One of them is Life Sciences. So, you need to select elective courses of life Science or LSE in order to get a degree in that. IGNOU has a credit system based programmes. So, you have to complete32 credits per year and thus 96 credits in 3 years. For the first year, 16 credits will be from foundation courses. The rest of the credits is from your elective courses. Eligibility for B.Sc. In Geology. The basic criterion of eligibility needed to be met for admission to the course is a Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognised educational Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and/ or Math as main subjects and a minimum aggregate score of 55%.

Eligibility for B.Ed at RIE CEE is 50% marks in Bachelors degree and / or Masters Degree in Science / Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science or Mathematics or in Bachelors Degree and /or in the Masters Degree in Social Science/Humanities (5% relaxation for SC / ST /PH). So you can appear if you fulfill this criteria.
