As you don't have biology in your intermediate, you are eligible to appear for PCME only. You cannot pursue B.Tech biotechnology without having biology.

The B.Sc chemistry graduates have many options for their higher studies. Majority of these graduates option for Masters degree in the same. But they can also choose various specialized areas in this field for the post graduation courses. Many universities offer the study of chemistry at post graduate and at doctoral levels. For joining M.Sc in chemistry or related discipline courses, they have to pursue B.Sc form any recognized universities with at least 55% marks. There are five sections in the NEST exam. The General Section i.e. the first section is compulsory for all. From the rest of the four sections (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology) you can answer any three of them. If you wish then you can also answer all of the four sections. In that case best 3 subjects will be considered for the merit list.
