There are different exams conducted for biology students also. You can enter into research field for research work. There are various government labs which conduct exams for biology students for a job. Also, to get a government job in the medical field, entrance exams are conducted for recruitment. You can also give UGC-NET exam also.

For students of 12th with PCB, there are very many courses are available. Biomedical, biotechnology, microbiology, fisheries, dairy, besides botany, zoology etc.

Hello Gourab,
After 12th in PCB, these days, there are various courses available. You can pursue BE in biotechnology / dairy or pursue microbiology or do your PG in Botany, Zoology or fisheries etc. By the time you reach that stage I am sure many new courses would have been started.

You should consult with relevant authorities in your school if you can change your elective in class 11. You should not face much resistance if you want to switch in class 11. Showing a good academic track record will definitely help, and if you are good in your studies, the authorities might agree based on your academic performance.
