Mathematics and bio, both can't go simultaneously especially in fields like engineering and medical. One has to be left apart. Interest is good and it would be helpful if you keep it that way no matter what stream you choose. And about the field, choose one that you wish to see yourself as in future without any regrets (choosing a wrong field as such).

If you interested in research then first of all take life science in B.Sc. or you may do biotechnology which also gives us a scope to go for research work in future. But, primarily complete Bachelors and Masters in life science, this will open a lot of options in research. Some of the know institutes for research are like AIIMS, JNU, etc. For more details you may go to https://shiksha.com.
Sorry to mention lately but you also may get into research work if you choose to go for medical after 12th.
