Mathematics and bio, both can't go simultaneously especially in fields like engineering and medical. One has to be left apart. Interest is good and it would be helpful if you keep it that way no matter what stream you choose. And about the field, choose one that you wish to see yourself as in future without any regrets (choosing a wrong field as such).

If you interested in research then first of all take life science in B.Sc. or you may do biotechnology which also gives us a scope to go for research work in future. But, primarily complete Bachelors and Masters in life science, this will open a lot of options in research. It all depends on your interest, if you want to specialize in biology, molecular biology or developmental biology and then do M.Sc. in biology and get job in hospitals, horticulture, medical research, medical lab, science centers, food institutes, but in case you are interested in medicine.
