No, it is not necessary to give the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam to get admission to the biomedical engineering course. There are some private colleges that offer direct admission on the basis of the class 12th score. Some of these colleges are:
1. Sona College of Technology : You can do B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, and the tuition fee is Rs. 2 Lacs.
2. Galgotias University: The fee is around Rs. 6.36 Lacs for B.Tech. Biomedical engineering.
3. Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology: The fee is Rs. 2.4 Lacs.

Students who have passed Class 12th in Science stream from a recognised board are eligible to apply for admission to the BE Biomedical Engineering course. Almost all the top engineering institutes in the country admit students on the basis of entrance examinations like JEE Main and JEE Advanced. So yes, you are eligible for biomedical engineering.
