Yes, of course the branch bio medical is good for girls as it contains a lot of research works and also a chance to work with the best doctor's and hospitals of the town. Job scope in bio-medical in India is quite low. Many students who pursue bio medical generally go for research works in IIT's. Although if you do well in this field you will definitely get a job as in metro cities as it is compulsory to keep a bio medical engineer in every hospital. Best of luck.

Scope of Biomedical Engineering in India:
Biomedical Engineering is still in the development stage in India and, therefore, scope is very limited for this field. One of the main reasons why progress is slow is due to the lack of integration between research institutions, hospitals and universities in India.
