If you want to join a course in biotechnology then you must have a science background. Some universities offer B.Sc biotechnology which one can join after class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics. Graduates in all sciences, engineering technology and medicine are eligible for the postgraduate (M.Sc.) course in biotechnology.

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with the following subjects:

Hi Aashia!
For B.Tech biotechnology, you need to have your intermediate degree with one subject as biology. Also, you need to have 60% marks in both matric and intermediate.
