Yes, you are eligible for taking admission to IISc. Note that IISc gives B.Sc. (research) in Biology Chemistry Earth & Environmental Science, Materials, Mathematics, and Physics along with a minor in any other subject. So, there are no specific courses for biotechnology, but the topic will be taught in your course of study.

You need to have subjects such as botany, Biology, biotechnology, life sciences, Zoology, microbiology or physiology in B.Sc. as a major subject and Maths or Chemistry or Physics in 1year.

Hope you are doing good. Here is your answer to your query. B.Sc. In biotechnology is a rare group but candidates will have great future by doing this. Eligibility criteria for this group is candidate seeking admission to B.Sc. Bio-Technology have to pass 10+2 with stream of Physics Chemistry as core subjects with more than 50% overall and 45% for SC / ST students and 60% in each core subject. For getting admission we need to attend entrance exam for B.Sc. Biotechnology are JMI Entrance Exam DUET KCET KIITEE. Yes, they are eligible only if they don't have any backlog in the final year or semester and they should also appear for entrance exam.

The eligibility criteria to pursue M.Sc in biotechnology is that you must be having a BSc degree in any science subject and without having backlog in final year and must appear for entrance exam.

Actually, admission through IIT JAM exam is through merit rank in the exam not through marks score. Rank is decided on the basis of mark gained. Your score is very less, probably rank will be around three thousand. With that much of score you will not be eligible to take admission into any college. Try next year with more hard work.

As per the eligibility, students have to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Chemistry English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. In this case, if had Biology in +2, THEN YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR B.Tech Biotechnology. If you are looking for the best university for B.Sc. In the biotechnology course, I would say Lovely
