Rank of 282 in what? Admission in Integrated courses is based on the basis of 12th marks. So, you need not appear for any entrance test to get admission.

Hello,
Your rank is pretty decent. Getting a rank under 500, however, gets you in the top 3 colleges of IPU.
Not many colleges of IPU offer B.Tech Biotechnology.
University School of Biotechnology (USBT) is a constituent institute of GGSIPU. You can surely get into it. Not sure about any other college. Just check with MAIT, VIPS, MSI or JIMS if they offer your course. These colleges are the best.

The chances of getting the main campus are less, but you can still check or wait for the second counselling.

Yes, with the rank of 700 in IPU CET for biotechnology in 2018 you will definitely get admission in IP University. Last year 800 rank students also got admitted so you can. Best of luck for your future and if any query feel free to ask. Do upvote if you like the answer.
