You can get admission in B.Sc. Biotechnology if you done 10+2 from Science stream with the 50% marks. Mostly college grant admission on the merit base of 10+2 but some colleges offer admission of on the bases of such entrance exam as DUET KITEEE, KCET etc.

It depends on personal choice of candidate who wants to do M.Sc. Being biochemist, I feel M.Sc. In biochemistry is better, however, future scope in M.Sc. In Chemistry is not less. Biochemistry deals with study of chemical basis of life in living organism including plants and animals. If you wish to do Masters I. e. M.Sc. After graduation, then you should go for B.Sc. Else, join B.Tech Biotech. M.Sc. Biotechnology at SRM university (KTR campus) offers a 2-year full time course at PG level It charges about Rs.2,00,000 for the completion of the course The college is ranked by #8 by Shiksha collections .The college totally offers about 60 seats. The college offers online registration and counselling also.

As compare to srm university, loyola college, Chennai is comparatively best for doing M.Sc. Biotechnology. Loyola is a private owned college and it has NAAC A+ accreditation, and it is co-Ed and it also has good placements too. So its better to choose loyola. And there are even various colleges like,

70-80% marks are the cutoff for entrance exam in UNI Pune.

The admission window for M.Sc Biotechnology is open for those candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent field with at least 55% marks.

Christ University provides three year Bachelor of science course which may include both physical and life sciences as the fee structure is 10K to 25K per year and scholarship is also provided.

BSc(Hons.) in Biotechnology at Punjabi University provides three year course program. To pursue this course one should complete his or her intermediate with 60 to 95 percentage and the fee structure is 7580 to 12680 per year and scholarship is also provided
